What: Get your community involved in supporting the work of Remember the Children by donating toward your 5k walk or run experience
You can provide the gift of sports for children in Tanzania by participating in the Race for Hope Virtual 5k! On October 11th and/or 12th, run or walk the 5k at your own pace in your own neighborhood. As you prepare for the 5k weekend, you can share this page with family and friends to raise money for the school. Your registration comes with a code for a FREE race day t-shirt! All donations will go towards building the sports fields. Simply click 'Participant Center' to register for the 5k as a group or individual today!
Since you helped us build Eternal Pre and Primary School through the Race for Hope in 2022, we have finished construction, opened our doors, and tripled enrollment after our first year. There are now well over 400 children attending the school from our 10 family homes in Eternal Family Village and also from the surrounding community. The school is currently ranked 6th out of over 150 primary schools in the Tabora district for excellence in learning! As the school gains a reputation for excellence, our desire is to continue empowering them to share the love of Christ through quality education, safe facilities, and opportunities for children to thrive. The courts and sports we hope to build include basketball, netball, volleyball, soccer, track and more!
