Dear friends and sponsors,
With great affection, we wish you many blessings, health, prosperity, and immense joy to you and your families. You are valuable and important to this ministry. With your help, we form a strong team, one who continues to support children to grow and be raised in a family. We thank you, and we appreciate from the bottom of our hearts your donations for the Christmas gifts. We dearly send you pictures with every child and their gift that they received. Mostly the gifts are useful throughout the year, containing school uniforms, tracksuits, footwear backpacks, school supplies – they will use these and wear them with dignity and satisfaction throughout the school year. The girls got their wish to receive dresses for Christmas to wear them to church and other future events. The children enjoyed their toys, games, and sweets. It is thoroughly satisfying for us to spend time with all the children and their families during Christmas time, giving presents that bring so much joy as we are reminded of the Divinity’s real gift – the birth of Jesus Christ. We are thankful to God and to you for providing for the needs of these children on a daily basis.
With a thankful heart and with great satisfaction we want to share last year’s achievements, which surpassed all our expectations, dreams, or imagination:
In January 2019 a transformer was installed on the village property, where the ten family homes are being built.
In February 2019 the 7-km water pipe was finalized from the city of Tabora to the village property.
Also, in February 2019 the construction of the first house started and was finalized at the end of May.
In March 2019 a brick and slab making machine were built with which all the bricks for the construction of the houses and all slabs for roads and sidewalks are produced.
In June 2019, the 7th family was formed.
In July 2019 the construction of the second house started and was finalized in November.
In October 2019 the construction of the third house started which is still in progress.
In November 2019 we started constructing three septic tanks for collection and drainage and installing four tanks on the rooftops for water catchment in order to irrigate the gardens. All have been finalized in January 2020.
Early in January 2020, the foundation of the fourth house has started.
Also, early in January 2020, a group of friends from churches in Vienna has been in charge of loading a container with fridges, washing machines, stoves, boilers, solar panels, couches, bunk beds, tools and gear for constructions, clothing, and footwear for children. All these goods will be shipped to Tanzania end of March in order to furnish the new houses, to meet the children’s needs, and for the community.
We are working intensively and diligently to form new families and to build new houses. We are working towards the formation of our 8th family. All these developments are for orphaned children who need a family comprised of a father and a mother in a proper home, to live safely in a loving family. Together with you, we fulfill the Divinity’s desire of giving a home to the abandoned.
