The group of parents leading the homes and community at Eternal Families Village have all been prayed over and hand selected as men and women of faith. These leaders are not only responsible for the care and upbringing of the children in their homes, but also each carry out responsibilities for the community at large. Whether it is the gardens behind the homes or the fields of crops down the road, the many managerial roles at the school or the church plants in the villages, these house parents are leaders and strong community figures.
This week, Andy, Alan, and Beth are visiting Tabora to further equip Eternal Family leaders by offering a series of teachings about a number of topics from values to skills. We pray those in attendance will be able to take these teachings and apply them in their homes. We also hope they are able to share the biblical truths taught this week with those they lead and serve. We believe transformed leaders transform communities, and it all starts with relationships.
Please pray for our stateside team members as they continue to navigate the unexpected nature of travel and for the Tanzanian leaders as they learn, grow, and impact the lives of those around them.
