Greetings from Tabora,
2023 was a year filled with both joy and sorrow, we find solace in God's abundant grace. Despite the ups and downs, His kindness has prevailed, allowing us to overcome hardships and usher in another year ripe with the promise of positive change and the touch of God's hand on lives around the world.
As we step into this new chapter, it brings me great joy to share the beginning of a fresh school year in Tanzania. Recalling our December 10th, 2023, Sunday Stories, we celebrated the conclusion of the second semester with 202 students. This semester, due to our now established reputation, we are thrilled to welcome 221 new students to our school, expanding our school family to a total of 423 students!
The first week was filled with immense happiness, especially for parents witnessing their children as they entered the classrooms. These children now have the opportunity to commence their studies in an environment crafted with the generosity of your sacrificial giving and love. Your trust in us through your donations allows these children to meet their teachers, form new friendships, and discover the profound love that God has for each of them.
In a conversation with Dionis, our school manager, he shared;
"As we embark on this new school year, we seek your prayers for the teachers and headmasters navigating the challenges ahead. With the increasing number of students, challenges multiply, including the need for reliable transportation and adequate food. We earnestly request your prayers for God to open doors, providing secure transportation for our students."
Let us also join in prayer for the students, teachers, and parents to experience peace in this new journey. We hold firm in our belief that God will work wonders this year, transforming lives and communities to fulfill His purpose.
We extend our gratitude to individuals like you who played a crucial role in reaching this milestone through your generous support and prayers. Thanks to you, children and families at Eternal Families Tanzania have felt the love of God.
Blessings,
Yohana N. Dioniz,
