This year, we had 40 young people between the ages of 13 and 21 attend our youth camp. They were from the villages of Tatarasti, Santandrei, and the cities of Arad and Oradea. The theme for the week was Spiritual Growth, based on Ephesians 4. The evening messages focused on living the Christian life, growing in Christ, and making positive life changes. The mornings were spent in Bible study around the same theme, and we had discussion questions for them to discuss more deeply in smaller groups. The final night the small groups presented skits based on the theme of the week, and an invitation was given for the young people to accept Jesus as their Savior. 12 people accepted Christ as their Savior, and many more prayed that their lives would continue to grow in Christ. Of course, the week was also filled with team building activities and lots of sports activities. But each summer, we are excited to take the children out of their typical environment to one where they can have fun, grow spiritually, and leave behind the stresses of life. This year was truly an unforgettable week and one that was truly transformative for everyone involved.
