At Remember the Children, we value your trust in us. You work hard for your money, and when you give to this ministry, we want you to feel comfortable knowing your gift is used wisely.
Therefore, we are proud to be accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The ECFA is an organization that holds high standards of financial accountability and transparency for nonprofit organizations. In short, this organization gives us standards to make sure your money is going where we say it’s going, and that we steward gifts with integrity. Their standards include:
Doctrinal Issues
Board of Directors
Financial Oversight
Use of Resources & Compliance with Laws
Transparency
Compensation-Setting
Stewardship of Charitable Gifts
We value being in compliance with the ECFA because it challenges us to be transparent with our stewardship and gives you peace to partner with us. It’s been a huge blessing for our organization!
This is our 5th year of accreditation with the ECFA. As part of our compliance, we are audited annually by L.M. Henderson & Company LLP, Michelle Zimmerman CPA in Indianapolis, Indiana.
