Did you know that you're feeding families? It’s true!
One of the ways you serve Romanian Roma villages is through food deliveries. Our team members, Daniel and Claudia Bagosi, regularly purchase, package, and deliver food to those who need it most: Romas.
The Roma people are some of the poorest in Europe, and can struggle to meet the needs of their families. This population is ostracized & looked down upon by Romanian natives, so work can be difficult to find and they can find themselves trapped in cycles of poverty. So, Remember the Children tries to serve them in any way we can.
It's all based on James' teaching about caring for the poor (shown in the verse above). If you share the Gospel, but do not show the love of Jesus, your message means nothing! However, if you help with physical needs, people are more receptive to what you have to say. Plus, they know you care!

Therefore, in April, Daniel and Claudia took food to a Roma village in Santandrei, Romania. They went to the local store and prepared food bags to distribute. Look at all the food you provided!

Each food bag contains flour, oil, chicken, sausage, pasta, sugar, and more. You are supplying necessities for each family so they can prepare nutritious meals that fuel them for work, school, and everyday life.

The deliveries are often paired with a Bible Lesson for the kids and prayer for the adults. Food is delivered to communities that RtC has served for years, therefore, it’s a vital part of continuing our relationship with each family.

The food deliveries also allow you to invest in the lives of children. In order for kids to focus in school and church, they need to eat properly. Therefore, having enough food is vital to their education! You are ensuring they have what they need to succeed.
