Our New Vision Statement

After almost a year of praying, brainstorming, and dreaming, Remember the Children has crafted a new vision statement!  We believe this statement perfectly reflects our ministry and the future we are hoping to build.  Our new vision statement is:

We aim to see a world where every child knows the transforming love of Christ.

We believe every child is a gift from God, and we believe we’ve been given the responsibility to care and minister to them.  100 years from now, we want to see kids all over the world accept Christ, thrive in their communities, and make a difference.

This vision began in 1996 when Andy Baker was challenged to ‘remember the children’— to make a difference in the lives of the children he met in Romania.  Over the last 20 years, our organization has preached the gospel, provided relief efforts, planted churches, and much more because of the challenge Andy received years ago.  Through everything, we have been working towards a world where every child—not just those in Romania and Tanzania—know the transforming love of their savior.

Overall, we believe that putting our vision into words is incredibly powerful.  Although we’ve always known that we want to make a difference in the world, being able to articulate it makes us excited and spurred on to continue!  Will you join us?
