The work at Eastern European Bible College continues to expand alongside their presence in the community. In addition to training Biblically grounded church leaders, EEBC has done work with refugees, Roma villages, after school programs and skills training for marginalized communities. Their accredited college curriculum includes a strong emphasis on service and community outreach which is reflected in their most recent plans for building expansion. We are looking forward to walking alongside them as they move forward opening a coffee shop on campus. Marius Ban, President of EEBC, gave us a description of what they have planned.
"The coffee shop space is envisioned as a vibrant community hub that will not only will help in time support our mission financially (in time) but also serves as a welcoming space for meaningful engagement around God and the Christian faith. Through weekly events like music concerts, book discussions, Bible study sessions, debates, outreach events, we aim to create an inviting atmosphere for those curious about Christianity and God. Whether they will explore faith for the first time or deepen their understanding of faith, our coffee space will offer an accessible and informal setting to connect, learn, and grow together in faith."
Please keep this vision in heart as you pray for the work of RTC at EEBC in Western Romania!
