The war in Ukraine continues to fill the country with conflict and violence. As we continue in prayer for our friends and neighbors to Romania, we also continue to send support. One of our main partnerships has been through our friend Jaco. This year, we have supported his ministry to amputees in Ukraine.
This past week, Jaco and Adrian, their director of prosthetics, visited hospitals in Kyiv, Kharkiv and L’Viv to meet with volunteers and cement new relationships in prosthetics. As the city of Kyiv hopes to build a prosthetics center, Jaco and Adrien are ready and able to assist in training new prosthetists. They also hope to implement their new flexible socket system to meet the needs of wounded soldiers and civilians.
Only 6 hours after their hospital visit this week, a missile struck that very same location. Much of their work is held by the lack of peace which is also the reason their work is so urgent.
Thank you for your continued prayer over this situation and for your ongoing support of Remember the Children.
