Meet Our Newest Board Member, Ashley!

By Natalie Barentson

Remember the Children has a new Board member!  We are so excited to welcome Ashley LaBar to the team.  We are thankful that she chose to lead and guide RtC in the years to come. To learn more about Ashley, check out her bio below!

Ashley LaBar grew up in the small village of New Lothrop, Michigan. She received her Bachelor's in Children’s Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University. Upon graduation, she and her husband Daryl moved to Fishers, Indiana where she worked as a children’s pastor for 5 years before having children. She and her family still reside in Fishers today where she stays at home.

Currently, Ashley homeschools her three children (Claire, Crew, and Grant) part-time, coaches cross country, hosts various events in her home, and serves at her local church, Pennington Park.

Ashley has served on various local mission trips as well as globally to France and most recently Romania.

Her first experience with Remember The Children was packing boxes to send to the children at Christmas. She met Andy and Gerri a few years later and was interested in their ministry. Ashley and her daughter jumped at the opportunity to head to Romania for a Christmas trip when it became available a few years later. She was amazed to see firsthand the ministry going on there as well as how the trip impacted her daughter.

Thanks for serving with us, Ashley!  We are grateful to have you as a member of the RtC Board of Directors.
