Our Christmas Hope 2019 team has made their way back to America and we are so thankful for your prayers that carried them through the week. Today's recap was written by Hannah, a Senior at Azusa Pacific University. She was with us earlier this year over the summer and could not wait to get back. Read a little bit of her experience and how it felt to return to Romania below.
"Coming back to Romania during the Christmas Hope trip proved to be an entirely new trip with new experiences and feelings. The main feeling I felt was a sense of comfort that you really only feel at home. Reuniting with beloved staff, friends, and hearing the children call me by name brought this overwhelming comfort, sense of belonging, and joy that was more than I could’ve hoped for and answers the question “are we really making an impact here?”.
The seeds that were planted during the summer trip I got to be a part of sprouted beyond measure and left me in awe of how Jesus’ love truly changes everything and everyone. This team was also an amazing example of how Jesus’ love is so willing and ready to serve anyone! From the late nights packing bags, long and tiring car drives, and packed churches I was proud to be a part of a team that did not let this impact their call to action to share the greatest gift of all- Jesus!"
God is continuing to move across Romania, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to be involved with what He is doing.
