"Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.”
- Max Lucado
When I read that quote, tears came to my eyes, specifically at the last segment:
Our prayers do make a difference.
Part of the reason Remember the Children stands today is because of the prayers of caring individuals. They’ve prayed for salvations, people, opportunities, provision, and healing. We’ve seen these prayers come to fruition over the last 25 years as children join our programs, leaders become Christians, and so much more! Therefore, if there’s anything we’ve learned over the course of our ministry, it’s that your prayers make a difference. It doesn’t matter if they’re long or short, or if they’re in your prayer closet or a quick thought as you’re driving. They truly make an impact!
As you go about your week, would you continue to pray for Remember the Children? Here are a few ideas to start with:
Protection from sickness for everyone in our organization.
Wisdom and courage for our pastors in Romania, that they can continue to disciple and preach even under COVID restrictions.
Safety for our construction crews as they continue to build the homes and surrounding areas in Tanzania.
Our house parents would have energy, wisdom, and joy as they lead their homes.
The kids we serve would know Christ and walk in the confidence that they are children of God.
Thank you for praying with and for us! Your prayers make a difference!
