Just like many of your families, it’s the beginning of a new school year for the kids in Romania. Without your support, many of these students wouldn’t have access to a quality education. Therefore, school means something extra special to these sweet kids.
Last week, our Romanian team member Dani Bagosi distributed backpacks and school supplies to the Roma communities in Santandrei. Robi, the teenage son of the community leader, volunteered to go door to door to compile the list of needed school supplies. He went shopping with Dani and helped prepare the backpacks for distribution. As a reward, Dani bought him a pair of nice shoes that he really wanted. It was a special time of providing for the needs of the community and mentoring a young leader, all in one.
Your support provided the items for each child, and now they will be set up for success for their education. Thank you for your faithful support of these kids!
